On Wednesday morning, May 22, 2024, I drove 70 miles from Nürenberg, to Würzburg, Germany in a little over an hour. This was my first stop along The Romantic Road, (Romantische Straße). Romantic Road derivation is from the German Romanticism (Romantic Era).
As a postscript; Wednesday evening I stopped at a cafe along the River Main for a typical German dinner. I was told I was in an Italian Restaurant! I had a nice Italian pasta dinner with an Aperol Sritz dessert cocktail made with Italian Prosecco!
Early Thursday afternoon I drove to a hotel I already had booked reservations, in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany.
